First Blog Post: About this blog

Hello, my name is Green Tea. I've decided to use this name after my sister, whom I will call Mochi, said that the drink best described me. I take this to mean I am plain but still manage to have a distinct flavor, which would be accurate. Everyone described in this blog will be subsequently be given a food pseudonym that I believe best describes them but on to why I've started this:

Tiny Pinkie Surgery: The Birth of FrankenPinkie

So I did end up getting pinkie surgery and I now have a stitched up tendon and some pins put in to make sure the bone heals (turns out the two pieces had never been reattached). Behold FrankenPinkie! Broke My Pinkie

I haven't posted in a while mostly because I broke my pinkie almost a week ago and am fuzzy on my right hand's new limitations. It wouldn't be bad if my pinkie was immobile but (thankfully) although the bone was poking through my skin, the tendon was surprisingly not severed. I reference the popular mindpalace scene from Sherlock BBC, where Sherlock is going over the facts of the case and tying it to other information, looking for a solid thread between everything. Herbal supplements work in a similar way. A and B are caused by C which is caused by your body using D to combat C. Therefore, A and B are solved by rejuvenating your body's supply of D. Elementary. Your body is as strangely intertwined and confusing to navigate as a tangled ball of yarn and the point of herbal remedies is not to fix the immediate problem, it is to fix the cause of the problem. Although this is a good practice, it can be confusing.
